SMS Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 7/7/2026 Last Updated: 7/7/2026

These SMS Terms and Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern your use of the text messaging service ("SMS Service") provided by Vector Stomp ("we," "us," or "our"). By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to these SMS Terms.

1. Program Description

Vector Stomp's SMS Service sends text messages to customers and prospective customers who have provided their mobile phone number and opted in to receive messages from us. This service is operated by Vector Stomp using third-party messaging providers, including CallRail and JustCall.

2. Types of Messages

When you opt in, you may receive any of the following types of messages from Vector Stomp:

Service-related messages:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Technician dispatch and arrival notifications
  • Service updates and follow-up communications
  • Quote responses and pricing information
  • Customer service replies
  • Billing, invoice, and payment reminders

Promotional messages:

  • Special offers, deals, and promotions
  • Seasonal service reminders
  • New service announcements

3. How to Opt In

You may opt in to receive text messages from Vector Stomp by:

  • Checking the SMS consent checkbox on a form on our website (such as our quote request, contact, or service scheduling forms)
  • Providing verbal consent during a phone call with our team (recorded and logged)
  • Texting an opt-in keyword (such as "START") to our published business number

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can request pest control services without agreeing to receive text messages.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your service activity and your interactions with us. You may receive up to several messages per week related to active service requests, appointments, or promotional campaigns.

5. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Vector Stomp does not charge a fee to send or receive text messages, but your wireless carrier may charge you for messages sent or received based on your mobile plan. Contact your carrier if you have questions about your messaging plan.

6. How to Opt Out

You can cancel the SMS Service at any time. To unsubscribe, reply STOP to any text message we send you. After you reply STOP, you will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.

If you want to rejoin, simply opt in again using one of the methods in Section 3.

7. Help

If you need help or have questions about the SMS Service, reply HELP to any text message you receive from us. You can also contact us directly:

Phone: (815) 475-0014 Email: info@vectorstomp.com

8. Supported Carriers

The SMS Service is supported by all major U.S. wireless carriers. Vector Stomp is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to the effective transmission from your wireless carrier and is outside of our control. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories listed in our Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent — this information will not be shared with any third parties.

For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

10. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder of the mobile phone number provided (or have authorization from the account holder) to opt in to our SMS Service.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to you before they take effect, where required by law.

Required Form Disclosure Language

The following language must appear next to an unchecked SMS opt-in checkbox on any form that collects phone numbers. Do not pre-check this box.

A single combined checkbox covers both service-related and promotional messages.

Typeform setup — Checkbox question

Question title:

Get text updates from Vector Stomp?

Question description:

We'll send appointment reminders, service updates, dispatch notifications, and occasional offers. You can opt out anytime.

Checkbox label:

I agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Vector Stomp at the number provided, including appointment reminders, service updates, and promotional offers. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. View our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.

Inline links inside the checkbox label:

  • "Privacy Policy" → /privacy-policy
  • "SMS Terms" → /sms-terms

Notes for implementation:

  1. Checkbox must be unchecked by default. Pre-checked boxes do not meet TCPA "express written consent" requirements and will cause 10DLC registration rejection.
  2. Mark the consent question as Required in Typeform so users cannot submit without checking it.
  3. The phone number field must be optional, not required. If users are forced to provide a phone number to submit the form, carriers consider this "forced consent" and may reject the 10DLC application.
  4. Privacy Policy and SMS Terms links must be embedded inside the checkbox label as clickable links (not separate references elsewhere on the page).
  5. Keep records of every opt-in. Capture the exact disclosure text shown, the timestamp, the IP address, and the form used. Retain these records for at least five (5) years.
  6. Confirm opt-in via reply message. The first message a new subscriber receives should re-state the program, message frequency, opt-out instructions, and rate disclaimer. Example:

"Vector Stomp: You're in! You'll receive service updates, appointment reminders, and occasional offers. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel."

  1. Footer requirement. Privacy Policy and Terms of Service links must appear in the footer of every page on the website — not just on the page where consent is collected. This is a separate requirement from the consent checkbox.
  2. Quiet hours. Marketing texts must not be sent before 8 AM or after 9 PM in the recipient's local time zone, per TCPA.
